Hi, my name is Safiatú. 

 

I am a trauma-informed, sound healing therapist, lomi lomi and reiki practitioner, and also a transpersonal psychosynthesis counsellor in training. 

 

I appreciate the complexity and uniqueness of each individual's journey towards their authentic expression and reconnection with the Self (beyond the personality and our stories).

 

Most people in modern society are disconnected, out of balance, experiencing dis-ease and pain, and stuck in unhelpful and sometimes destructive patterns. The journey of healing and accessing more of your true potential takes much dedication, patience and love, and necessitates finding supportive relationships, resources and tools that work for you. And the first step is deciding that you matter enough to choose a healthy, vibrant, and fulfilling life!

 

It is my firm belief that well-being is best approached through a complete holistic framework, that involves the body, mind, and spirit. I am on my own personal journey of learning how to honour this trinity and discovering what tools work for me. Along the way, I found an unexpected gift in sound healing, after my mother gave me my first singing bowl. I find its power ripples to every level, and I now wish to develop this gift to share this medicine more widely with others.

Overall, I am passionate about helping others to heal by way of holding space through non-judgemental, compassionate witnessing and safe relating. I desire to help people reclaim their sense of dignity and embrace more of their soul essence (the magic you bring to the world!). I am on a similar mission to reclaim that for myself too; it's a journey. And as Ram Dass says, "We're all just walking each other home."
